You yell back at her, "COMBAT! You just made my skin and muscle peel off into these things" you grab the piece from your left shoulder and thrust it into her face. "and now you want me to help in some sort of combat team. Are you insane!?"
Sarah scoffs at your complaints, "You know you can actually move those new appendages right? This might be your first time with more than two arms and two legs but they don't have muscle in them for nothing." She snatches it out of your hand and squeezes it.
You suddenly know that you have to get it out of her hand as the pain travels back down the piece and into your brain. By instinct you make your right shoulder whip her in the face.
Sarah cringes as the blow lands and lets go. "You see they aren't useless and while you'll need to work to get that muscle back onto your arms. I think you'd be a good addition to the team once you get complete control of them."
You sigh in relief as she lets go and agree, "fine i'll join. But you aren't fighting me until i learn how to use them on my own."
Sarah seemed delighted at your acceptance. "follow me and try not to get lost"
You follow her. As you're walking your whips or tendrils or whatever you were going to call them. Whips would be good enough. Anyway your whips became irritated from dragging on the ground. After they get stepped on you pick them up and throw them over your shoulder to keep them off the ground.
Sarah opens up a door that seemed to come from nowhere and you follow her. "OK People gather round. This is our new recruit i happened to get lucky with my experiment so we now have a new team member. This is Whip (I know I said no naming him but it's not his actual name). He's going to make it so our team can compete this week in the competition. Whip this is
"Deadman" Sarah points to what seems to be a regular guy except for the fact that blue beams were flying from his hands. You weren't too keen on finding out what they did. regardless he hit you in the leg with one and found that the spot had gone completely numb. "He helps train people how to fight while injured"
"Bear" Sarah points to a woman who was boasting a cover of hair that seemed to shift on her like armor. Bear quickly takes off a chunk of hair that stayed together as if it had been gelled that way and threw it into the ground where it stuck. "Decent opponent and out base builder"
"Still" Sarah points at what at first looks like part of the scenery and then you pick up on his outline and then on his face. "He can move one thing at a time with almost no restrictions but he can't move while doing it. Most people don't notice him unless they're looking for him. Just doesn't register with how still he is."
"And I am responsible for experiments that made them along with working on improvements and planning the training regiments."
