The alien’s expression took on an emotionally hurt appearance. “I get the feeling you don’t trust me.” She said, regaining her composure.
“Sorry but here on Earth, in history and entertainment, all those who do these world-takeover things are evil. World domination is a staple in evil-genius literature.” Lindsey explained.
“I suppose that would give you a disposition to look down upon the idea. I doubt there is anything I can say to convince you my motives are pure. But maybe, just maybe, there is something I can do to prove my intentions.” The alien said.
“Once I reach the appropriate height, about as tall as you I’d say, you teleport with me to my homeworld. With you there, there would be another that could stop me if I was evil.” The alien suggested.
Lindsey thought for a moment before saying, “Well, I guess that would work. You seem to be alright in this atmosphere, so I should be fine in your world’s atmosphere.”
“Then we’re in agreement.” The alien exclaimed happily.
