The slime-girl

Lindsey jolted awake. It was morning, and she could see the world clearly. ‘Oh thank goodness, it was just a dream. I must’ve fallen asleep on the lawn.’ She thought. But then she saw the crater, and immediately she checked herself. She looked at her arm, it was a green color and somewhat transparent, like the goo last night. She poked at her arm, and her finger went right through it. “Oh my God. I’ve become a female Blob.” She said breathlessly.

She leaned on a hand, before noticing that her slimy body was absorbing the morning dew, making her grow ever so slightly. Lindsey began thinking of what this could mean, and all she thought up appealed to her. “These things happen, you just have to make the best of them.” She said to herself as she stood up.
