While Jessica is certainly attractive, you decide that if you're going to get yourself a lover for life you should probably choose someone with whom you wouldn't mind spending time outside the bedroom. Thus decided, you carefully pocket the Lust Powder until the final bell dismisses you and your fellow students to their homes and after school activities. Once the halls have emptied, you make your way down to the math lab, hands shaking with excitement. You wonder idly whether Annie will simply throw herself at you right then and there or if she'll just start fawning over you until you ask her out. Whatever the case, her affections will be more than welcome. As you approach the door to the math lab, you pause briefly, taking a deep breath and carefully sliding the vial from your pocket.
"Here goes noting," you whisper, popping the cork and sprinkling the fine black dust over your skin. It disappears as it makes contact, melting into your arms with a gentle shimmer.
"Cool," you say.
Taking another deep breath, you gently crack open the door to the math lab, only to be met with a terrible realization—Annie isn't here.
"Can I help you?" asks one of the math club members, noticing you in the doorway.
You quickly snap your exposed arm behind your back to avoid accidental contact.
"Uh, is Annie Breen here?" you ask.
"No," says the math clubber. "I think she stayed home sick today, but she should be back tomorrow. Is this about the yearbook? Would you like me to give her a message?"
"Uh, no thanks," you mutter, mind racing. Hastily you back away from the door, letting it slip closed behind you.
This is not good. You've already applied the powder, and as such whoever you touch next is supposedly going to become irresistibly attracted to you. That leaves you with a difficult choice. Of course, you could simply try not to accidentally brush against anyone for the next twenty four hours, until you get another chance at Annie. That could prove quite challenging, though; you might be better off finding a suitable substitute as soon as possible. Most of your peers have already gone home for the day, but you should still be able to find some pretty girl staying late for an after-school activity. It's hardly ideal, but at least that way you wouldn't run quite so much risk of accidentally infatuating the wrong person.
