Although she was viciously strong, Rogue knew that there would not be any way to for her match Sonic's insane speed or steel determination. If there WAS a way to cancel the brain washing her ring did, he would find it and ruin all of her fun. She HAD to get him out of the way. And what better way to do that than to brain wash him first.
"Someone with his speed could be useful to me." she thought. "He could gather all of the girls I want under my control and I won't have to lift a single finger!"
She let out an evil laugh then set out to find the Blue blur wonder. She found him in his favorite spot, eating, of course. She smiled then gave her ring a kiss for good luck before walking over to him, casually.
"Hey, Sonic!" she said, happily.
"Hey, Rogue." replied Sonic. he gave her a 'one eye' look. "You're not up to any mischief today, are you?"
Rogue pretended to be hurt. "Me!?!" she asked, innocently. "Why would I cause mischief?"
"Because you're good at it." said Sonic, with a wink.
Rogue laughed at his comment. "So true!" she said. "But I just came here to show you this neat ring I found."
"A ring, huh?" asked Sonic.
"Yeah, check it out!"
Rogue held out her hand for Sonic to see. As he gazed upon the stone of the ring, a beam of light shot out and Sonic stumbled backward in a blur of motion as if to dodge the attack.
Was Sonic fast enough to avoid the hypnotic light?
