This choice: Cecile, come to warn Suzaku of Lloyd's drug • Go Back...Chapter #4Warning Too Late by: Lelouch   Even miles away from the door Suzaku could clearly hear the booms of something massive approaching. Judging from the rhythm it was...a person...walking...no running towards....the training area Suzaku was in right now? He used his sense of hearing to clarify and he was correct; someone was coming. Suzaku's mind reeled at the possibilities of who it could be, a Knight of the Round...maybe a member of the royal family...possibly even a terrorist; none of these possibilities seemed particularly good. Suzaku got along with his fellow Knights but...they weren't the kind of people he would want to be around in his current state; Royalty was more or less the same way. A bunch of high level people used to being waded on hand and foot by servants, throwing a shrunken Suzaku into the mix was not a good idea, not at all. As for terrorists....well it kind of spoke for itself. Thankfully when the approaching person actually entered Suzaku was relieved to say the least. It wasn't a Knight, Royalty or a terrorist, it was Cecile Croomy!
She wore a regular army uniform as she entered, her eyes scanning the entire room for something; probably Suzaku. Her eyes quickly locked onto his clothing on the ground, and she ran to it. About a foot away from it Cecile stopped and knelt on her knee; eyes scanning furiously at the ground. "Am I too late?" Her worried voice boomed. The humongous blue eyes frantically moved about until they found their target; Suzaku waving his arms around for help. Suzaku's perspective on this was obviously quite different. When Cecile entered he was just...awestruck. She was always beautiful, Suzaku knew this but at the current size it had transcended beyond belief; the only woman who had done that for Suzaku himself was Euphie, and she was dead. Awe wasn't all he felt though, he was happy; Cecile was probably the most pure of heart person who could've found him and now that she was here he knew he had to get her attention. So hid did the only thing his size would've allowed to even remotely worked, he jumped around and screamed for the giantess' attention. When she came forward her army boots stopped just before him, and Suzaku was awestruck yet again by the mere size, he had to be smaller than one of the giantess' toes! If she just moved her foot a little bit...he would be a goner. Thankfully she found him in about a minute and death was no longer an issue.
Cecile spoke with a soft whisper, much better than the deafening boom of her regular voice. "Suzaku...is that you? Are you alright?"
In contrast to Cecile lowering her voice Suzaku had to raise his to the limits. "Yeah Miss Cecile! I took that drug Lloyd sent me and...this happened!"
Cecile bit her lip and gasped, "I was afraid of that. Lloyd...well he got a few items sent out at the same time. And...they got mixed up. You got a vial of experimental shrinking serum."
The malice arising from Suzaku was almost visible, "That man will die....."
Cecile nervously laughed, "I'm sure he deserves it but...you know him. Just leave it to me Suzaku. I'll make sure he learns his lesson later." The boy seemed to calm down, at least slightly. "Okay, but what about my situation? I can't exactly handle the Lancelot like this."
The giantess didn't look even slightly worried. "Me and Lloyd will fix you don't worry. If anything Lloyd won't let you get hurt."
"Yeah he doesn't wanna lose his guinea pig."
"I never said he had pure motives. " Cecile laughed.
Suzaku laughed a bit too, "So, is there a cure Miss Cecile?"
It was this question that made the giantess tense herself, a nervous bite of her lip brought fear and paranoia to Suzaku as well. Cecile didn't worry for nothing, she always had good reasons and if she appeared worried...it must've been bad. "Well....there might be. As I said it was an experimental serum that shrunk you. An antidote or a reversal process has yet to be created but if me and Lloyd put our minds to it we can find the cure!"
" IF there is one." The little Knight finished for her.
Cecile nodded, "Yes....but Suzaku I swear on my life that if this is irreversable Lloyd will pay...." The kind girl grew a scary expression, almost resembling a monster; but she looked at Suzaku again in her kind motherly face. "Sorry you saw that. I sometimes let my darker side come out when it comes to Lloyd." Suzaku was speechless in fear. Cecile nervously giggled, "Well worst case scenario I do like to play with dolls." Suzaku somehow found a way to be even silenter.
After a moment he could speak though, "So...um. Miss Cecile? What should we do now? I sort of wanted to finish my training before doing anything."
The giantess looked surprised, "Training? Even though you've shrunken?"
Suzaku shrugged, "Might as well. Nothing can be done now."
Cecile was silent for a moment, "Well Suzaku....   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
