Something interrupts his advance

"Now, let's get on with your 'education,'" the male dragon said devilishly, before leaning in closer, his eyes dilating in a strange pattern. Erica willed her head to move, but something inside her rebelled, and she found her head leaning in closer as well. "No, no, please no," she tried to say, but her voice caught in her throat, silencing her. Something had to happen, and fast, or else she'd be getting quite a lesson, and very soon.

"That's right," the male said cooly, as she watched through eyes that wouldn't move from his own. "C'mere, my lovely--"

A crash sounded at the mouth of the cave, halting the proceedings and washing Erica with relief.

"What in the world!?" the male dragon roared, storming out to the mouth of the cave. Erica took another moment to breath in and out, hopefully cleansing her system of any hypnosis or mind-control spells, then turned and looked outside. She saw nothing at first, then she caught sight of the male confronting a:
