The woman speaks.

"Wait."

Erik turned his head around.

"Why did you save me?" the woman asked.

"I have my reasons," said Erik. "Mainly I don't like people like them- they cause trouble, often more than they are worth."

"But why did you save me?"

Erik turned his body around and walked over to the woman. "Maybe I was saving you for myself!" he said angrily, stretching himself out. "Appreciate the life you've got because it could be taken away very easily."

"If you were going to kill me you'd have done so already," the woman shouted back, the force of her conviction forced Erik to recoil a bit.

Erik smiled. "You want to know the reason why."

"I would," the woman said.

"The reason is," Erik said. ....
