Or after. He'd told her that he was going up to the old man's office to give him a piece of his mind. And she egged him on of course, thinking that they were just goofing around. Then an announcement came over the PA system.
"Kristin Bertilson in housewares. You're wanted upstairs."
Kristin was scared. She'd never been called upstairs to the boss' office since the day she was hired. Maybe the reason Felix was missing was because someone heard the two of them talking and ratted them out to the boss. And now Felix was fired and now it was her turn!! Well, if she was getting fired, she wasn't going out like a wimp. She stopped in the bathroom, combed her hair, pushed her glasses up on her nose, smoothed out her skirt and marched toward the staircase leading to the office. When she got to the door, she knocked purposefully.
"Come in."
"You wanted see me sir?"
"I did Miss Bertilson. Come in and close the door behind you."
Kristin closed the door and tried her best to maintain her air of professionalism. The person in the chair had their back turned to her.
"So, Miss Bertilson. Do why you're here?"
Here it comes...Kristin thought.
"No sir. Was there a problem with my job performance?"
"Actually no. Your performance is quite exemplary. It's just that we've decided that you are due for a promotion.
Kristin was taken aback.
"A promotion sir?"
The chair swung around revealing a grinning Felix.
"You asshole!!"
"Had you going for a minute, didn't I? You thought you were being called in her to get fired weren't you?"
"Yes!! Where's Billington?"
"He had to leave suddenly. The store is now under new management."
"Really? So who's in charge now?"
Felix leaned forward and tipped over the nameplate that read "FELIX BARRETT, OWNER AND CEO"
Kristin looked at him skeptically.
"Not another one of your stupid jokes dude. Seriously, move away from there before Billington catches you and fires you for real."
"I am being serious. Billington is gone. I'm in charge now."
"So why'd Billington leave?"
"Because I told him to."
Felix then explained to Kristin about his god-hood. Kristin stood there shaking with fear and disbelief.
"So your first act as a god was to take over the company. What are you going to do next?"
"Give you that promotion like we were talking about earlier."
"What will be my new position?"

"Co-owner and undisputed HBIC", Felix opens the top drawer of the desk and pulls out a ring box, "That is, if you'll have me."
Kristin's eyes began tearing up.

She then ran over to Felix so he could slip the ring her finger. After she admired the huge diamond she gave Felix a huge kiss. Then they became more passionate. Kristin soon unbuckled Felix's pants and yanked them down to his ankles. Felix in turn, spun her around, bent her over the desk and tore off her skirt and panties.
