When the final bell rung in the afternoon, Jesse was more than ready to go home and relax. He had plenty of new classes to prepare for, and there was also the situation of making some money. At lunch he had noticed that many of the goodies one could buy were a bit more expensive than he was used to.

"Maybe I can bag groceries," he muttered to himself as he turned the combination for his locker. Chances are he could get a job there, but he didn't want to lose that much free time in such a boring place. When he opened his locker up, a white piece of paper fluttered out and landed between his feet. He bent over, confused, and scooped up the paper to read what was written on it.

Seeking babysitter for young girl, aged ten. Hours are from 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM. You will be reimbursed $50 at the end of each day. If you are interested, please go to...

Jesse's eyes practically bulged out of his head. This was perfect! The hours were after school, there was money involved, and he could easily get his homework done and relax while watching the girl.

Slamming his locker shut, he bolted out of the school and down the sidewalk. If he got the job, he could then tell his mother that he would be back late. The address was not that far, and he wanted to apply before anyone else could.

Little did Jesse know that he was the only one who got the advertisement.
