"Why don't you come upstairs? We'll talk about this," Suzy began to make her way up the stairs. I followed her. "I know it sounds unreal, but it's true," the girl entered her room. The walls were decorated with posters of anime, comicbook and fantasy characters. Her PC was on, I could see a character, which I thought to be an elf, slowly moving on the screen.
Suzy sat down at her desk. She gestured to her bed, with a childish duvet, and I sat down. "Look if you don't believe me I'll demonstrate it for you," the girl sighed. "Matt, come on. There's no such thing as a device that grows or shrinks things. I know most people think I'm weird, but this is the craziest thing I've ever heard," Suzy looked at her computer screen. She was probably thinking about continuing her game. I wasn't going to let her.
"I said I'll show you, so here see for yourself," I aimed the remote at Suzy. The girl backed off a little and put her hands up. "Matt, what are you doing?," was that a slight bit of fear in her eyes? "Just watch and learn," I pushed my thumb down on the fire button.
