I hate blood tests. All evening I had to stick around and deal with them shoving needles in me and cramming medical supplies in my mouth. I hate that feeling. I was tired after everything was said and done. They even took an X-ray. The doctors seemed to be puzzled and I started to doubt that my teeth even did change. Since I was stuck there I decided to go to bed early.
I woke up during the night at some point. I wasn't really sure what time it was. From the window in my room I could tell it was late. I heard the sound of footsteps running past the door of the room I was in. I stood from my bed, The hospital gown I was wearing felt awkard, I definitely wouldn't get used to being in a hospital. I walked over to the door in my room. and looked out the small window, the nurses often use to monitor their patients. A girl a few years younger than me ran through the hall.
It didn't look like anyone was following her. I opened the door and followed after her. I turned the corner where I had seen her run "Hey" I called to her as I saw her continuing to run. She looked behind her and stopped. I quickly jogged over to where she was. "What are you running from?" She looked up at me, her face pail and sickly, She breathed loudly as she tried to speak "he's back" The girl whimpered. "Who?" Iasked.
