You look over the ingredient list, and consider where to pick up all those odd ingredients, but once the shop closes, you quickly leave to gather the necessities. You'd like to cast this spell as soon as possible.

Steve has to be present for it to work, though fortunately you don't have to touch him or do it in front of him - though you do need some of his hair. And, the spell says it could be used for 'one or for many' - perhaps you should make your own hunger grow? Then Steve wouldn't notice anything - and you'd be bigger too.
