You wave around trees, run through bushes, and constantly change direction to keep from possibly being cut off by other patrols that you had slipped past earlier.
Jumping over a fallen log, you risk a glance back at your pusuers. The female soldier who originally spotted you is close behind, trailing only twenty or thirty feet behind you. The other patrollers, two men, are much further back and losing sight of you.
