You're on your way down to medical for the usually exam before putting on the suit. You walk in to the lab and see Dr. Jack standing there as always.
Before you can say anything, he hands you a cup and says, “drink this.” It’s a glass of silver liquid. It doesn’t have any unpleasant odor or anything, but you hesitate anyway. The doc motions for you to hurry up and drink it. You gulp it down quickly even though it does taste pretty good.
“So, Doc, which bitch suit am I wearing to night?” you ask with a grumble.
Doc laughs and replies, “Getting tired of being the bait? Don’t worry they usually ease up after a month and give the new guys a break. Any way I got something special for you tonight”.
“You won’t be wearing a suit tonight. We just got in something new that will more effective than the suits. Most of the Johns either recognize or are using the scales to detect the suits, so the department had me find something new”, the Doc states. He then just stands there.
“Ok Doc, don’t keep me in suspense. What is it?” you ask.
“Ok, ok get undressed and I’ll explain (you comply) It’s a new nanobot technology. Tiny little robots will multiply inside of you all over and, when given a command through a special link, will completely transform you into one of the 20 women loaded into this terminal," he explains. It sounds risky to you and a little freaky.
“I don’t know if I’m keen on the idea of having little robots inside me, Doc,” you state.
He only smiles and says, “too late.” It dawns on you right away what he means. You look over at the empty glass and then back at him. He nods his head. “Now don’t be a baby about it. It’s perfectly safe. Go over into that booth and shut the door,” he says after slapping an electronic device to your chest. “That’s the link,” he answers before you can even ask.
You walk over and get into the booth and shut it. “What’s the booth for?” you ask.
“It’s for the mess. As you’re going to be transforming into someone with much less mass, that mass has to go somewhere. The human body is mostly water so what you will be losing will be liquid. Some other elements and minerals will also be mixed in. From what I hear it doesn’t smell very good, so that’s the reason for the booth. When you’re ready to transform back we’ll put you in a nutrient tank to provide the nanobots what they need to rebuild your mass. I hope anyway. This is my first time,” he explains.
None of this makes you feel any better. “Ok, the nanobots have reached optimal spread so you’re ready. Would you like to pick or can I?” the Doc asks, swinging a monitor around so you can see.
