Victory for Ressek?

Elise advanced her sword raised certain the saurian would prove no threat as she saw his strength drain from the magic in his wound. She briefly muttered another spell to make the blade grow even stronger and then lifted above the shrinking lizard eager for an easy kill, she swung the glowing blade down at his unprotected head braced herself for impact and fell on the floor, in the instant before the blade connected the lizard had moved. Suddenly an incredible blow crashed against her shield wall breaking her concentration and causing the wall to unravel, then the lizard was on her, he pushed his scaled finger into the point just behind her ear and she felt excruciating pain spill through her body.
