Chapter #5

Raven's Tail

Resseck growled and charged Raven. Raven
hissed and slashed out with his tail, hitting
Resseck in the stomach and flipping him over
his head. Resseck landed hard on his back
and there was a cheer from the crowd.
Resseck's eyes focused on the other opponents
in the crowd. None of them were cheering.
Resseck knew why they weren't. None of them
wanted to face Raven.

Resseck rolled to the side just as Raven's
talons came down in the spot where Resseck's
head had been. Resseck scrambled to his
feet, only to be knocked down again by
Raven's tail. That tail is going to be my
downfall. Resseck thought to himself.

From somewhere in the crowd, Resseck heard
Siph yell, "Resseck!"

Resseck looked back and saw Raven's massive
body coming down on him, jaw open and teeth
glittering. An evil red glow in Raven's eyes
told Resseck that Raven was trying to get
some lunch...

1. Resseck gets out of the way in time.

2. Raven lands hard on Resseck.
