A friendly sorceress for a spirit monster

You are more or less terrified right now. One minute, you were asleep in your bed at home. Now you were awake in the palm of a giantess from a children's trading card game! You didn't know what was going on, but the giantess holding you began to speak.

"Hello there human! I'm Dark Magician Girl, what's your name?"

"M-my name is Alex. What do you want with me?"

"Don't worry Alex, I don't plan to hurt you. After all, if you die, I do too!"

"What do you mean by that?"

"Doesn't it make sense yet Alex? I'm your spirit monster! I'm here to protect you..."

"Wait! If you're my spirit monster, why haven't you ever revealed yourself to me before?"

"I've always wanted to, Alex, believe me... But spirit monsters are kept sealed in the souls of their masters until certain conditions are met. We don't even get to know what kind of person we're sealed inside of until they call us out!"

"Well... That explains why you didn't know my name... But why did you shrink me?"

"I thought it would be fun!"

"..."

"You're angry at me, aren't you... Oh, I'm so sorry! I'll turn you back right now!"
