This choice: Did nothing, but someone was growing slowly... • Go Back... Did absolutely nothing. The main reason was because the flower was fake, considering Jessi sorely lacked a green thumb and couldn't keep a desired plant alive to save her life. So she had stuck some highly realistic fake flowers into the ground so it at least looked like something other than grass and weeds grew in her backyard. However, unbeknownst to her, a little of the green paint she had sprayed had gotten on her skin and had been absorbed...
Meanwhile, Lulu was playing in her backyard in her bare feet since it was a nice day and this was her backyard. The cuffs of her socks had left uncomfortable marks all around her thighs, with the slightest sign of stretch marks as her growth had forced them down a little lower down her leg when they wouldn't stretch any more. (which wasn't much since she usually pulled them up pretty high) The rest of her clothes were still a little uncomfortable, but she had resigned to keep wearing them anyway. It wasn't like she had anything looser to wear. Unfortunately for Lulu, the effects of the green spray can had yet to wear off, so she had yet to stop slowly growing bigger. As fate would have it, she had brought out her doll house and a few dolls, and was pretending to be a towering giantess. Currently, she was undecided if she was a nice giantess today, or a mean one. She figured if she were a real giantess she'd be a nice one.
As she played, Lulu had by chance heard the familiar airy hiss of a spray can being used. And then the familiar voice of that girl from earlier. "Uh oh." she uttered with dread. How could she have known that girl was her next door neighbor that she had unintentionally angered?
Jessi saw Lulu's reaction, but was slightly distracted by the sensation of her bra feeling just slightly uncomfortable. Admittedly, it was never exactly the best fit for her, but it never really bothered her quite like this before. Nevertheless, she shouted, "Hey neighbor! How was lunch? I hope your guilty conscience didn't spoil it too much!"
"I'm so sorry, miss! I didn't know those cans belonged to you, they were just laying there like no one wanted them!" Lulu apologized as she approached the fence hesitantly, keeping more than an arm's reach away from the fence. Her mom had told her to keep her distance from strangers even with a fence between them so they couldn't as easily hurt her.
Jessi was about to forgive her when her hand accidentally slipped and hit the green can, spraying them both thanks to the wind blowing some of the paint back at Jessi. As a result, both girls were starting to grow a bit faster from the second exposure to it. Jessi had been hit a little more by this spray due to Lulu being further away from the nozzle, but conversely, Lulu had a much greater initial exposure from the first time... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
