She tries to find a way out of town

The way she entered the town was in the same direction of the parade and she did not know the town well so she wandered around for sometime thought the alleys slowly so as not to attract attention, she had to be very careful as her feet were bare and she did not want to make much noise and had to walk carefully so as not to hurt herself.

Kayla came upon a bridge but the sign stating where it led was difficult to read.


"Anywhere is better than here" Kayla thought to herself: "but should I go somewhere I don't know that has got me into trouble so far and I don't want anything to get worse"
