Alex stood above the remains of her once cherished pink pj's. A chill ran down her spine over the thought of how big she was. Her thought were soon interrupted by her mother wielding a big glass of milk.
"I hope someone's ready for one last snack before bed." the mother optimistically sung.
Alex could only stare blankly at her cake wielding mother. Seeing her daughter's torn pj's, the prepared mother swiftly consoled the girl.
"Oh sweetheart, did your clothes shrink in the dryer? Damn that broken piece of junk." she scolded forcefully putting the glass in her daughter's hands. "Don't fret dear, I'll buy you some new pj's, even cuter ones."
"Mom I don't think its the dryer." Alex lowered her head in shame. "I think its because I'm...fat." she uttered pinching a belly fold.
"Absolute nonsense!" Alex's mom raised her voice. "We've been over this before! You are no were close to being fat."
"But just look at this mom." Alex grabbed a bulge of her stomach.
"It's all in your head Alex. Now drink your milk." she sternly ordered.
"Well, I guess..." Alex obeyed and drank down the milk which seemed pretty thick to be milk.
Alex's milk was in fact becoming thicker. For her dutiful mother had been mixing it with cream, hoping it would pile more blubber on Alex's body. Soon Alex's mother intends to feed her daughter pure cream.
"Now get to sleep. Tomorrow is your first day of Middle school and I want you well rested."
"Okay" Alex responded wiping her lips and handing her mother the emptied glass.
Forgoing the pajamas, Alex went to bed bare. Heaving her body into bed caused it to creak. Lots of things were beginning to creak under her lately. But her attention shifted elsewhere. Afterall she was to start middle school in the morning.
