Rapunzel pushed her toes even harder onto Sora's nose, trying to get him to break. But he wasn't gonna give up, he was loving it too much. However, Rapunzel continued to think that what she was doing was effective. "Go on!" she mocked him. "Smell my feet! Smell my feet! Smell my feet!" She laughed. Little did she know, however, that someone else had entered the Tower.
"Rapunzel?!" said a voice coming from a doorway. Rapunzel gasped out of shock and turned to see a youthful slender woman standing there. She had pale ivory skin, curly black hair, and wore a red crimson dress, belt buckle, and brown shoes. She glared at Rapunzel and Sora with her piercing green eyes. Sora stared back, embarrassed that this woman had walked in on him being "tortured" by Rapunzel, but he was also somewhat frightened. There was something about this woman that he didn't like.
"Mother!" Rapunzel said back to her as she got up and cheerfully ran to hug the woman. When she embraced her, Mother Gothel was still fixated on Sora, who was still tied to the chair by Rapunzel's long hair. Her eyes were wide. She looked at him like he was a dangerous insect that needed to be squashed quickly.
"Rapunzel, who is that?!" she finally asked.
"Oh! This boy climbed up the Tower. I think he's one of those people you've been talking about. I'm sure he's a thief after my hair. So I tied him up all by myself and was interrogating him," Rapunzel made her way next to her captive and gave her mother a proud smile. "I guess I can take care of myself, eh Mother?"
"Interrogate?" Gothel raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms. "Looks to me like he was smelling your feet."
Rapnzel blushed a tad. "Well, that's because he said he thinks feet are gross. So... I thought I could use that against him and make him tell the truth on why he's really here. It seems to be effective, but he hasn't cracked yet."
"Oh, my dear Rapunzel," Gothel sighed and rubbed her forehead, taking it all in. "Did you seriously think that making this thug smell your feet would be enough to break him?"
Rapunzel frowned and looked down at the floor, thinking tat she had disappointed her mother yet again. Sora could see something was up. There was something suspicious about Mother Gothel. What was she planning.
"You'll have to do better then that Rapunzel," said Gothel as she made her way over to her daughter and patted her on the head. Rapunzel looked up at her, feeling down that her interrogation method wasn't to her mother's approval. But then Gothel smirked. "If he really doesn't like feet, then you'll have to think nastier."
Rapunzel's eyes widened. Sora's stomach sank. What was this woman thinking?
