Just like that, Matt, taking the remote with him, left Tina, all of 4'5" tall, essentially stranded at home-- a prisoner of her own size. Fortunately, her mother was gone for the weekend and wasn't expected home any time soon. In the end, she was just going to have to wait for Matt to get home from his date and go from there. It was better than trying her luck outside at her current size. She decided to try and make the best of the wait. She knew that Matt was going to see a movie with his girlfriend, so he was gone for at least three hours, barring any after-date activities. He had the remote, which meant that there were more options for activities than ever before.
Still, Tina was small, and her clothes were essentially useless. The first order of business was to get clothed. Her panties and shorts had already fallen down, leaving her shirt ballooning over her diminished frame. Her bra hung uselessly. Stripping off those remaining articles, she set out, nude, to change that. Going to her room, she awed at the size of everything in the house, the backs of chairs were at eye-level, the staircase was a daunting mountain. Coming down the hallway, she turned the chest-high doorknob and walked into her room.
It was a difficult thing for Tina to come to terms with her new littleness. Her dresser was well above her head, her bed came up to chest-level. She took a deep breath and went over to her closet and found a box of older clothes, which she had been meaning to get rid of. Fortunately, she hadn't. Going through, she found a really old pair of athletic shorts from middle school, and t-shirt from around the same time. Trying them on, Tina was able to tie the shorts tightly around her small waist, but couldn't help their length- they came down below her knees. The shirt was a little better, but still hung precariously on her small frame. A bra and panties was more or less out of the question at her size, so she made do with what she had. Feeling a bit tired from her exertions, she locked the door, and climbed onto her bed, and took a nap.
Tina woke up a mere hour later to the sound of laughing and shouting downstairs. Matt and his girlfriend Jen had clearly skipped out on the movie and decided to come home. Now was her opportunity to get the remote back, or at least get herself a little closer to her normal size. She crept downstairs, intent on snatching the remote while nobody was looking, but as if waiting for her, there stood Matt and Jen, tickling each other. Tina was immediately spotted. Yet, Tina noticed something different. Matt was around 5'9" tall, and Jen was even shorter than Tina (was), but looking at the two of them, Tina noticed that they were about the same height, perhaps Jen even taller than Matt. Not only that, but their clothes hung slightly loosely off of both of them. Tina stood up and estimated that the two lovebirds, still more interested in each other than in Tina, were each only about 5' tall.
Looking her way, Matt cried, "Sis! This thing is amazing! We decided to skip the flick and test it out. After I told her how small you were, Jen insisted we come home and play around with it. We shrank each other, and even figured out how to make our clothes fit a little better. I even shrank the car a little bit so I could still drive it!" At this point, Jen walked over to Tina and said, "Wow, Matty, she is small- but then again, so are we!" Tina sensed that the situation wasn't as serious as she had thought it would be and let her guard down. "Yeah... it's actually pretty cool" she said with some genuine enthusiasm. Jen then, "First thing's first! Everybody gets to be the same size!" Grabbing the remote from Matt, Jen turned it on him and tapped down the S button lightly. As the beam hit him, Matt began to dwindle slowly. This time, however, his already shrunken, poorly fitting, clothes weren't going along for the ride. The inches ticked off and within a minute, he had gone from a hair under 5 feet to a hair under 4'5". Tina noticed that he was just barely smaller than she was. He must have registered the difference too, but didn't say anything as he walked toward Jen, took the remote from her, and returned the favor, shrinking her down to just above 4'5" tall. Jen, now the tallest in the room by mere fractions of an inch, kicked off her shoes and let her pants fall to the ground as she jumped into Matt's smaller arms and kissed him. Matt lost his pants in the jolt, but was clearly enjoying being the smallest in the room.
After the kiss, Jen turned to Tina and said:
