"Is that Candy Land?" Anne said, pointing to a pile of board games.

Sure enough, Candy Land sat in the pile with a variety of other childish board games that the girls had long since stopped playing. As they continued to look around the room, the girls found themselves slowly making their way closer to the toys.

"You don't happen to want to play Candy Land, do you?" Amelia asked nervously, biting her lip and hoping the other girls wouldn't make fun of her.

"Candy Land is for babies, and I'm a big girl!" Wendy declared loudly, puffing out her chest.

"You're not a big girl, you still wet the bed!" Anne teased, pointing at Wendy.

"No I don't!" Wendy screeched back. "Stop lying!"

The girls began to bicker childishly among themselves, unaware of how juvenile their argument sounded. Several minutes later their words had turned to shoving and hair pulling. It was not until Amelia let out a long, loud wail that someone entered the room.

"Girls if you don't knock off this commotion right now you are all going to face mommy's wrath!" The new woman yelled over the ruckus.
