The evening air was cool and refreshing as it blew through the trees of Blue Creek national nature preserve. Sadly, the only people there to enjoy the breeze were 3 escaped prisoners, perhaps the only people left alive in the whole city of Bitterwood. The first was a man named Richie, he had short light brown hair and a scar under his left eye. The next man was a tall fellow who was covered in tattoos. His real name was Kyle, but the inmates simply knew him as Spider. Lastly was their unofficial leader, who went by the name Eric. He was the second tallest of the group, but also the strongest. Even Spider, who was well known and feared in the prison they had escaped gave Eric proper respect and followed his every order. The first order of business was to check their remaining supplies and equipment to see what the had to work with. Each man had a backpack that could hold about 10 pounds of equipment each. Spider had a fully loaded hunting rifle, the groups jug of water, a lighter, 2 packs of cigarettes, and a small handgun with no bullets. Richie had a hunting rifle of his own with 2 shots left, a flashlight that had about an hour's worth of battery power left, a Swiss army knife, a switchblade, and a pack of matches. Eric himself had duel handguns (with no ammo), a blue and white bandana, a double-barrel shotgun (also without ammo), and a Playboy magazine. After taking inventory of their supplies Eric began telling them about each of his different plans. After several minutes of discussion and some arguing they managed to come to an agreement. They would...
