Moonlit legion

The cold night air was like a sharp slap to the face when it hit Frank as he stepped outside. He didn't think it would be this cold out and wish he had worn warmer clothes. "Oh well..." He said to himself. "At least its not raining." He stepped off of the sidewalk that ran along the outside of the mall and into the parking lot. Aside from a few overturned or wrecked cars everything looked the same. The pale moon hung overhead, lacing everything in a thick blanket of light. It was even creepier outside the mall, but Frank was glad to be able to see. As he walked he began to feel slightly uneasy, as if something was wrong. He hadn't seen a single zombie since leaving the gun store. "Hello, is anyone there!" He called nervously. Silence. Frank decided to pick up the pace and get out of this open area as fast as possible. He could feel it, something was out here with him, something evil. He was halfway across the parking lot when he found out what that something was. A few crows with glowing red eyes landed on one of the nearby light posts. They didn't attack right away, instead they waited for their friends to show up. It didn't take them long. Frank was up to a steady run by the time he noticed it. Birds of every shape and size were descending on the almost empty parking lot. Their grotesque bodies forming a dark shadow over the moon. "S-shit!" Frank spat as he made his way towards the nearest building, a lifeless looking video game store. The birds drew closer and began moving in for the kill when Frank noticed a van up ahead with the door open... on the other side of the row of cars he was running besides. If he wanted to get inside he would have to climb over at least two cars without stopping or falling off. He pulled his revolver out of its holster with his free hand and got ready to fire when he glanced ahead across the road at the video game store. Just a little further and he'd make it. He fired off a shot that caught a beakless robin in the wing, severing it. He was almost past the van with the open door... what will he do?

You have the following choices:

1. Keep running towards the store

2. Try to get to the van
