Hidden in darkness

by: evil dude Author IconMail Icon
"Ah hell, I guess if we run out of weapons I could just throw you at them and escape while they're tearing you apart." Eric said as he joined Smith on the stairs. "Let's just hurry up and get out of here before I change my mind." Smith pushed open the doors at the bottom of the stairs and walked out into the hall. No zombies. Eric followed close behind him with his nightstick in one hand and his gun in the other, if anything jumped them he would be ready. The two walked around the final corner and began making their way to the front door. There were a few zombies in front of it, but they were all level one. "We're almost outta here, I think it'll be okay if we use our guns now." Eric said as he took aim at one of the zombies. "You go ahead, but I'll save mine in case we run into trouble." Smith responded as he moved off to the side to give Eric more room to shoot. Eric scored headshots with both of his bullets and two of the level ones fell to the ground, leaving only three more. "Good, we can probably shove the remaining zombies aside and run outside before they can grab us." Smith said as he ran at the door. Eric quickly sped up after him with his nightstick ready to strike. 'I'll be able to knock two of them away, but you'll have to take the last one." Eric called as he prepared to smack the two farthest away from the door. "Got it!" Smith called back. Eric tackled one of the zombies to the ground and smacked the other one across the face with his nightstick. Both zombies were now down for the count, but the one he had tackled was still alive and trying to get back up. Eric finished it off as Smith blew away the remaining zombie with his gun. "Thought you were gonna save ammo?" Eric asked Smith as he pushed open the broken doors and stepped outside. "I am, I still have 2 bullets left." Smith said as he joined Eric outside. "Looks like you're gonna need them." Eric said grimly as he look around the front yard. "Cause I can see 3 zombies over by the main gate." Smith looked to where Eric pointed and saw them too. The first two looked like normal zombies, but the third was... different somehow. The darkness kept them from telling what type of zombie it was so they would have to make their next move carefully. Other then the zombies they could make out what seemed to be a car about 150 feet away in some bushes and another strange zombie standing on top of it. What should they do?

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. Head straight to the front gate

2. Check out the thing that looks like a car

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
