Someone's at the door

Suddenly, you hear a doorbell ring. At your scale, it feels like an earthquake to your ears. Quickly Tom shifts his feet and gets up. To avoid being crushed, you roll out of the way under the couch. You keep a lookout for the others, but they are nowhere in sight. You race under the couch to the other side to see Tom open the door. You can see a pair of sandaled feet approaching Tom's barefeet. You try and listen to their conversation, b ut your ears still ring from the doorbell. You pull out a recorder to record their conversation.

As soon as you approached from under the couch, you see Tom talking to...
