Well no point in waiting right? Edward's hand opened and the stone fell from it into his mouth. Closing it, he then preceded to swallow. It was harder than he had imaged. The mysterious stone was reckless in terms of not going on and Edward was equally reckless in forcing it to do so.
Gulping, chocking and eventually gagging, Edward somehow managed to make the green gem go down, feeling uneasy but excited as he did so. Finally he would be able to garner some attention around here so force he would be the center of attention rather than Leonardo. It wasn't that he disliked his friend. It was just that he was too serious and wise, all many of the mercenaries visited him instead of Edward. Now, due to whatever was going to happen, Edward was finally going to get a taste of the good life.
Sitting down on top of a wooden chest that contained several of his outfits, Edward took a few deep breaths, eager for the stone to land in his stomach and it's effects starting - whatever they were.
A few dull moments passed by before Edward began to feel strange. It was as if an vine had rapped itself onto his and was constricting him in everyway. Gasping and grunting a bit, Edward had to lie down to prevent himself from falling over in pain. What was going on?
Horrific thoughts filled Edward's head. Was the stone fake? Was it poisonous and someone purposely sent it to him as a way of killing him? With these thoughts in mind, Edward blacked out, unaware his body was slowly shrinking in size.
