"Ike! Are you alright?" Several clerics rush over to Ike as the warrior collapsed. The last thing Ike managed to see was the flourish of white robes as two female clerics ran over, staves waving in the air frantically...
Ike grunted. His back hurt, his head hurt. In fact, his entire body felt sore and tense. Struggling to open his eyes, the blue haired hero let out a moan has he tried to pull himself up at the same time. He was in a tent of some sorts, one he had never seen before. There was a cot underneath him and his armor had been removed and placed to the side. The tent was a small one, enclosed from all four sides with only the one farthest away from him letting light through from a partly open flap. From that, Ike could see grass and the outside. It was probably around sometime in the afternoon. Which meant he had been out for quite a while.
Swinging his legs off the bed, Ike began walking towards the exit. He wanted to know where he was, where everyone else was and if someone could do something about his muscles. Everything hurt from his head to his toes.
Just as he was about to step out, Ike heard voices coming from somewhere nearby. He paused and listened carefully.
"We can't just leave him like this. Who knows what will happen? Do we really need a giant on our hands during a time like this?"
"But you said it yourself. The counteraction is dangerous-we could potentially end up with a 3 inch tall Ike."
Giant? 3 inches? Ike was puzzled. What were these people talking about? Could it have something to do with that flower he touched? The thing couldn't have really been cursed, could it?
Just then, Ike heard the sounds of footsteps coming this way. He quickly glanced back to his cot, should he pretend to still be unconscious to listen on some more? Who knows what was going to happen to him if they found out he was awake.
