Use the device on someone else.

"Hmm, I wonder what interesting combinations I could get from this." Sonic said to himself, leaving the two girls to continue their argument.

After a while, he eventually came across a small group of his friends, after inputting the needed data and choosing his two targets, he activated the device. Light enveloped the two of them and when it faded, the two had switched places.
