Rebecca activated the device's other function, which allowed her to freeze time. She pressed the button, but nothing happened. Confused, she left the bathroom and looked around the house. It was dead silent. She walked back to her room, seeing Becky still sitting and watching the television. However, the television's picture was not moving. Rebecca calmly approached Becky, tapping her shoulder. No reaction followed. This time she slapped her sister's hand. Again, no reaction. Rebecca smiled, knowing now she had all the time she needed or wanted to experiment. But on who?
