His eyes were lined with purple, the iris a mixture of amber and scarlet, three tomoe orbiting a narrow, vertical slit of a pupil. His skin was pale and squamous, in places, armored with seemingly natural scales.
He licked his lips as he watched Ino jog towards his hiding place. No doubt she had sensed his presence inside the tree, and judging by the playful smile on her face, the blonde did not suspect anything untoward or ulterior. Perhaps she thought he was simply hiding to surprise her, maybe in "punishment" for her tardiness, or something along those lines.
Well, whatever the case. If she suspected nothing more sinister than a prank, than that was just fine with Sasuke. It could only work to his advantage.
Unsuspecting prey were always the easiest.
And, yes, he saw her as prey. Not in any sort of metaphorical sense. No, she was his prey, in the most absolute literal sense of the word.
There were many benefits to being a snake sage, benefits quite separate from what Naruto got from being a toad sage (at least, as far as Sasuke was aware...) One in particular that Sasuke found himself to truly enjoy was the taste for human flesh, and accompanying bodily modifications which enabled easy ingestion and digestion of appetizing females.
The boosts he got to his natural levels of power from doing this were also nothing to sneeze at. Eating people to absorb their abilities.
A bit... barbaric, by most people's standards, perhaps, but Sasuke found that he didn't much care. Humans tasted good. Girls especially so.
His smirk widened into a predatory grin as Ino finally came to a stop right before the tree in which he was hiding. She peered into the small crack in the bark with a playful, knowing smile tilting her lips up at the corners.
"Hi, Sasuke-kun~!" she chirped, perhaps seeing the glint of light reflecting off of Sasuke's eyes, or else simply feeling his chakra, with how close she was.
Sasuke began to salivate, seeing the valley of cleavage exposed by her low-cut top, and eyeing the curve of her hips, upon which her criminally short skirt rode oh so low. Ino had always been one for rather stylish wear, among kunoichi, stuff that more conservative civilians might decry as slutty or scandalous, and with how much of her skin she was exposing, and how much of her modest, not inconsiderable curves she was flaunting...
...Well, Sasuke was almost torn between whether to devour her then and there, or pin her to the ground and fuck her whether she wanted it or not.
And THEN eat her.
