The elevator doors began to close, and the parents of the spider-man dressed boy called for someone to hold it. The good Doctor obliged and held out his hand to catch the closing doors. They opened for the rest of the boy's family to join. "Thank you." Jake said, giving the stranger a friendly smile.
"Not at all." Dr Moriarty politely replied. He had dressed in a pressed elevator operator uniform. "You have a charming family. What floor?"
"Oh, it was... floor 4." Jake said after taking glance at the two keys in his hand, and the doctor pressed on the button for the forth floor. The elevator rose without so much as shaking the floor.
"Top floor for us." One of the two classy women said in a snobish tone.
"Of course." The Doctor pressed the button. "Here for a luxurious family vacation?" He asked the Anderson's
The spider-man boy, Jim, was impatiently crouching and shooting imaginary webs at the classy girls, which they did not seem to like. Gill was trying to control her son. The twin sons were back in the opposite corner whispering to each other in hushed voices. Gill, impatiently nodded her head, "Yes, that is what we hope. Some... quality family time."
"I think you'll find that the The Moriarty Arms has a lot of... unique experiences to offer." The doctor said with a devious smile, that no one seemed to notice but the twin boys. They stared at him with matching questioning looks, but still remained silent. "And here is your floor."
All of the Anderson's stepped out, with Jim running off down the hall to their room. When the elevator doors closed, Dr Moriarty turned his attention to the lovely women still impatiently waiting in the elevator.
Spider-man boy tried to open the door to his room, but failed without the key. Jake handed the 401 key to one of his twin boys. "You both are in charge. Don't let your brother destroy the room, and don't leave him alone!"
"But Dad!" both of the twin teens complained, but Gill cut them off.
"Why don't the three of you hang out at the pool when your suitcases come up? I'm sure there is a lot of fun things to do there." Gill said more softly then her husband.
"Fine!" The twin with the key said before heading over to unlock the door. Once unlocked, Jim rushed inside to look around, followed by his twin brothers. Jake and Gill could hear one of their twin sons yell, "No Jim, your sleeping on the couch! Me and--" the door closed and muffled the rest.
"I told you to get three beds for them." Gill said to her husband as he unlocked their door, the room .
"They'll figure it out. For now, lets just have 'us time." Jake held the door for his wife as they stepped into their room. The room was incredibly luxurious, almost too much so for the price. Surprisingly, their luggage was already in the room. However, Jake focused on the expensive looking room. "Maybe I should have another chat with the boys; I don't want to pay for them breaking--"
"They'll be fine." Gill said as she walked up close to her husband. "You still owe me a date night."
