The boy saw the spiked brown hair and sunglasses that was his older brother Max's trademark, but something was definitely different. Normally, Max, who was about four years older than him at eighteen, stood about a foot taller. But now, Max only came up to right above his knees! Our hero didn't know what had happened, but he knew he liked it.
"Max!" our hero called down, "it's me! What's going on?"
"I have no idea!" Max yelled. "Last thing I remember was going to sleep in my own bed after jerking off, next thing I know, I'm here in board shorts. How did you get so huge?!"
Our hero shrugged. "I dunno," he said, "I'm in the same boat as you."
"Well," Max shrugged. "You're taller now, I guess, so can you look around and see anything?"
The boy put his hand up to his eyes to shield them from the bright sunlight, and looked around in every direction. He didn't see anything; not a ship on the ocean, another person on the beach, or anything back towards the mainland. "Nah," he said, "same as you."
"Well, what do we do?" Max asked.
The boy shrugged. As he did so, he felt the swimming trunks he was wearing get a little tight, and he tugged on them to try to get them fitted on his slender hips better. He looked back down, and noticed that, where before Max was taller than his knees, now the top of his head came right up to his kneecaps.
"Hmm," the boy said aloud.
"What?" Max asked.
"Nothing," the boy said, realizing Max didn't notice his gradual growth yet. "Let's go exploring, try to find something here."
"Okay," Max said. "Lead the way." The boy started walking along the beach, with Max trailing behind him, still shaking his head at everything that was going on, praying that it was some sort of dream he would suddenly wake up from at any moment.
