Jacob walked into the school, feeling a bit worried at first. He glanced at the watched, and noticed the time.
"Darn, I'm running late for class! The first bell is about to ring!" he thought.
Then he remembered the necklace, and put it on.
"I don't want the bell to ring until I walk in my classroom!" he said out loud.
Jacob walked over to the locker and grabbed his books. It was already 8:25AM, which was the exact time that the first bell was supposed to ring, but didn't.
Jacob then ran into Tim, one of his buddies, and chatted with him in the hallway. Finally, he casually strolled into Room 107, and the moment he strolled through the door, the bell rang.
RRRRIIIIIIINNNGGGGG!!!!
"Hahaha! I'm still in time for class!" Jacob chuckles to himself.
Jacob sat down and listened to the teacher.
"Class, today we'll cover the beginning of the second World War in Europe, in the Fall of 1939... Please open your history books to chapter 8, page 231..." the teacher said.
"How boring!" Jacob thought. "I wish he would let us do whatever we wanted so we could play video games or listen to music..."
"Uhhmm..." the teacher said. "Considering that we're ahead of schedule, I'll let all of you take a break from history class today, so you can do whatever you like during this period..."
"Awesome!" Jacob grinned. "Darn... This necklace is so cool... "
