Out of the portal came a magical anime girl. But not just any magical anime girl. The Dark Magician Girl from Yu-Gi-Oh! was right in front of Light/Steven! Or she would be, if he wasn't in the toilet.
With a snap of her fingers, the buxom blonde made Light/Steven appear outside of the toilet. Light/Steven was shocked at this development. Dark Magician Girl however was not.
Dark Magician Girl snapped her fingers, and Light/Steven saw the necklace float around him. Dark Magician Girl explained that all fiction from comics to anime to TV to just about anything was merging together. And soon, it would merge with every reality. This was due to a group of evil villains from all over fiction, who had merged themselves into practically gods. They called themselves, "Mergers" and could "merge" anything with anything, creating new hybrid characters, objects, etc.
Dark Magician Girl wanted (Iike many others) to defeat the Mergers and heard tales of a necklace and Steven in another dimension (this one). So, she came to enlist Steven's help and hopefully use the necklace to stop the Mergers.
Light/Steven was unsure of what to do. Leaving the bathroom, he saw a news report of "Possible Girl" fighting "Hilarity" on TV.
"Possible Girl" was a buff Kim Possible dressed like Power Girl with Power Girl's powers (which he remembered were Supergirl's minus the kryptonite weakness) and Power Girl's massive breasts. Kim Possible "merged" with Power Girl.
"Hilarity" was like an albino Venom, laughing as he slaughtered everyone and secreted gases that made people laugh to death. Basically Joker "merged" with Venom.
Dark Magician Girl ominously said to Steven, "And so it begins for your reality...Will you help me?"
