Chapter #5

Who am I?

    by: Wassel Author IconMail Icon
Sitting back down on the sunbed, you sit and gaze at the huge swollen bump that was now your belly, rather shocked and unsure what to do. Had you and the pregnant lady actually switched bodies there might have been something you could do, someway to switch back, but now, well now it seemed you were stuck like this forever.

"Well, guess I did wonder what it would be like to live someone else's life," you told yourself, laughing slightly at the utter ridiculousness of the situation, knowing that the only other option would be to cry. You then noticed a blue flowery beach bag lying next to the bed, and figured it must have belonged to whoever you now are. "Better find out who I am, I guess," you though, reaching down and picking it up. Inside you found a large fluffy blue towel, some sandals, a pair of immaculately folded jeans and a pink top as well as a few shower products, and right at the very bottom, hidden beneath the towel, a small black purse. Opening up the purse, you immediately came across a credit card and read the name that was on it out loud to yourself, ""Samantha Harris", guess that's me." You continued your search of the purse and soon found a drivers license that contained most of the relevant pieces of information about your new life.

"Hm, lets see now," you said, scanning over the drivers license, "So my name is Samantha Harris, I'm 30 years old and I apparently live on the other side of town than I used to. Well, that's handy." You then looked at the photo on the card, staring at what you realized was now your new face, a little shocked to see a rather pretty woman, with long brown hair and brown eyes. "Hello me," you smiled slightly, not quite believing you were now this very pretty woman that was currently staring out at you, wearing a rather dazzling smile. It was during this strange stare off with a plastic card that you suddenly felt something move inside your stomach, hitting at the walls of your belly. "Holy crap!" you exclaimed loudly, quickly covering your mouth, realizing what it was you were experiencing; the baby that was now growing inside you was moving around, kicking at your new womb. Your hands immediatly went to your belly, as if steadying it somehow would stop the little life within you from moving about, but it didn't work as the baby continued shifting inside. "Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck!" you screamed inside your head, the bizarre alien sensations coming from inside you being a little much to take, on top of everything else that had just occurred. Even though you knew that you had somehow become this pregnant woman, it wasn't until the baby started moving that it became totally real.

Throwing the purse and it's contents back into the beach bag, your grabbed it in one hand, supporting your large belly with the other and moved as quickly as you could across the pool towards the changing rooms, no longer prepared to just sit there casually while all this weirdness was going on.

You have the following choices:

1. You look at your new reflection in a mirror

*Noteb*
2. You throw on your clothes and try and locate your car

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
