'OHHH, THAT SOUNDS LIKE FUN.' Ann says. Both look down to you. 'SO, DO YOU TWO WANT TO BECOME SOMETHING USEFUL FOR ME AND CATHY?' She asks.
'Noooo!' Claire yells up, angrily, though she can't be heard. You don't know what to think. Before this morning your step family had never used their powers on you. Now, already, you had been shrunk and put on a smelly sandal. Next they were talking about changing you into something. 'DID YOU HAVE ANYTHING IN MIND?' Ann asks her sister.
'WELL,' Cathy replied. 'I HAVE TO GO TO THE MALL TODAY. I'M WAS GOING TO WEAR MY OLD RUNNING SHOES AND SOCKS, I THINK ONE OF THESE WOULD BE GREAT AS A SOCK. THE COULD BE AN INSOLE FOR YOUR SANDAL.'
'THATS A GREAT IDEA.' Ann said and looked down at you again, a sinister smile on her face. 'YOU TWO WOULDN'T MIND WOULD YOU?' She asks.
'OF COURSE THEY WOULDN'T.' Cathy says, nudging the sandal you are standing on with the toe of her slippered foot, casing you both to fall. 'I BET THEY'D LOVE TO HELP US OUT AND MAKE OUR BIG, TIRED FEET FEEL BETTER.'
Claire is furious, jumping up and down and screaming. 'No! You can't! I was your stupid slipper last night and I've done nothing wrong!'
'LOOKS LIKE LITTLE CLAIRE IS EAGER.' Ann says. 'I THINK SHE SECERETLY LIKES BEING UNDER STINKY FEET.' She tittered. Cathy laughed.
'IS THAT RIGHT LITTLE CLAIRE? WELL IN THAT CASE MAYBE YOU TWO WOULD ENJOY BEING SARAH'S FLIP FLOPS FOR THE DAY. I'M SURE YOUR BIG SISTER WOULD APPRECIATE THAT.'
'OHHH, THAT IS MEAN.' Ann said, chuckling.
You don't know what to think - you are as scared as you have ever been, your heart is racing and your throat feels tight. But you can't ignore the pang of excitment either. Did a part of you really want this. It looks like you would find out one way or another. But the question is, what would you be tunrned into?
'I'VE DECIDED.' Cathy said. You held your breath as she gave her desicion.
