Jill slowly came to, and instantly became aware that she couldn't move anything but her head, looking down she saw that she was laid on a table, naked, strapped down in a darkened room. She tried to scream but for some reason she couldn't speak, the expression on her face told the extra-terrestrials who had abducted her that she was extremely distressed and horrified.
"The human is awake" Jill heard a peculiar, high-pitched voice say, as she looked around, trying to see who was doing this to her.
"She is frightened!" another, slightly deeper voice then said.
"Do not be afraid, we will return your vocal abilities to you soon, and we will then return you to your home" the first voice told Jill, whose head just slumped back down as she tried in vain to free herself. "You will be the most powerful human on your world" the second voice told Jill, as her horror began...slowly...to change into curiosity.
Jill decided to close her eyes, and try to go back to sleep, and after a while...she succeeded.

Jill suddenly awoke with a start, sweat trickling down her forehead, she looked around at the familar confines of her own bedroom. She then put a hand up to her neck and cleared her throat, she had her voice back. Then again...had it all been a dream?? She thought it had, and she rubbed her eyes, sighing deeply before getting out of bed to get dressed. "That was a weird dream" Jill muttered to herself, as she got ready for work. She slipped into a light-colored top, a knee-length black skirt and a pair of high heel pumps, and then she fixed her hair.
After she was done, she gathered up what belongings she needed and then left the house, she climbed in her car and headed to the high school where she worked as a teacher. With time to spare, she called in at a cafe to get something to eat and drink.
