she smelled blood (finds Zero)

as she was about to start go to sleep, Serenity smelled something odd, she smelled blood. after checking herself and finding no sign of her own blood, she looked around her cave. no more than a minute after she started searching, she found the source of the blood. lying there in a pool of blood was a young boy, no more than 16 years old at the most.

Zero was still awake but his concience was quickly fading. as the giant shadow passed over him he could only hope that they would find him and help him before it was too late.

Serenity reached down and gently picked-up the young boy she took some cloth from some that she had taken from some of the statues that the wreckless man in black had destroyed, used it to bandage the boy's wound's. she then put him in her hair, making sure that he was safe. she then went to sleep.
