"Hello there."
The thirteen year old Naruto looked around, seeing no one but himself was any where in the area, he turned back and tilted his head in confusion at the pretty girl before him. She was an inch or so taller than him, long white hair reaching down her back, and beautiful purple eyes that gazed back at him happily. She was pretty. She appeared nice. And she was willingly talking to the outcast of konoha. The light eighty-five pound genin didn't know what to think. Naruto immediately knew something was wrong, but non the less, smiled at her in return.
"Hello?" He answered, quite unsure of himself. No girl willingly talked to him, not with his hidious whisker like scars across his face and bad reputation, especially when Uchiha Sasuke was inthe facility. Sasuke wasn't any where to be seen though and she was talking to him. She gave him a huge smile, a blush lightly covering her cheeks, and seemed to be trying to get up the courage to say something.
"I... I think your cute!" She cried out suddenly. Naruto nearly had a heart attack, alarm bells going off, as he stared at her in utter shock. She hurried on quickly to explain herself. "I moved here a few months ago and you pass by my family's shop every day... and I've been wanting to ask you out on a date! So... will you go out with me tonight?" She asked loudly. Naruto blushed horribly, nodding his head, though still weary.
"Um.. but... Whats your name?" Naruto asked curiously.
"Oh, how stupid of me! I'm Sana." The girl introduced herself hurriedly.
"It's nice to meet you Sana, my name is..." Naruto started, despite his caution he was excited to meet someone who apparently liked him right off the bat. It was refreshing and nice. "...Naruto Uzumaki the greatest prankster and savior from the scary Sand nin Gaara!" Sana finished excitedly. "I've heard a whole bunch of stories about you Uzumaki-san!" Sana said with a squeal of excitement. Naruto blushed horribly, pleasantly surprised that it was a negative story she'd heard about him, and smiled warmly at her.
"Just call me Naruto and I woudn't say saviour exactly." Naruto said with a laugh.
"Alright Naruto, why don't you come to my grandmothers restaurant tonight, called the Lamplighter?" She asked.
"I'll be there!" Naruto told her, happiness bubbling over, he'd never been asked to hang out with anyone before after all.

Naruto entered the restaurant temptatively, but relaxed when the elderly women smiled at him, rather than toss him out immediately. Perhaps people's minds about him were finally changing, Naruto could only hope that was the truth, before scanning the rather large restaurant. Sana waved at him fromt the back of the restaurant, smiling broadly, dressed in a beautiful long sleeved black dress. Naruto himself had simply chosen to leave his weapons, ninja headband, and orange jacket behind. His orange pants along with his simple black net shirt was something that Sakura had once said was 'presentable.' Naruto excitedly sat down across from the beautiful Sana who was, as Naruto gaged her to be, maybe a year older than himself. He didn't understand how someone so beautiful could actually want to go out with someone like him, but he wasn't going to argue.
"Guess what Naruto?!" She asked, eyes bright with mischief.
"What?" Naruto asked.
"My grandmother is having some huge political members and their families of Fire country's capital eat here and she needs a couple people to try out some of her new plates and deserts and I got her to let us do it!" Sana said with a flourish of her arms. Naruto grinned back at her. "Thats really cool!" Naruto admitted. He'd never done anything like this before. None of his friends ever invited him over to their families place and none of them had ever wanted to hang out with him and on top of that she actually was offering all the food he could eat to help out her family? How utterly fricking cool. A kind elderly man, who Sana introduced as her grandfather, brought out a couple of drinks. "Tastetesters," the old man said, "of some new drinks to offer on the menu." Naruto grinned and took a huge sip as the man watched, not wanting to do it half heartedly for fear of insulting the man, and nodded happily at the great taste. "I think you have a keeper." Naruto told that man honestly. The old man grinned. "I think so too." And suddenly after drinking the odd but good tasting flavor Naruto felt a sudden utter emptiness in his stomach.
For the next two hours Sana's grandparents brought out deserts after deserts and trays of appetizers and platters of food, all of which Naruto would try and tell them what he thought of it, he was having so much fun that he didn't notice that Sana barely tried any of the foods. He didn't notice that he ate more than was strickly tolerable of each 'tastetester' or that his stomach started to hurt after the first forty-five minutes. This was due to the fact that no matter how many bites he took the empty feeling in his stomach that came with the drink wouldn't go away. He finally noticed how much he'd gorged on when he felt a strange tightness and looked down. His net shirt, which had been slightly loose at the beginning of the meal was stretched tight over his overstuffed stomach, it would be difficult to pull off. Naruto blushed and stopped mid bite, even though his stomach still felt strangely empty, he put the bite of pie back onto his plate. Sana was looking at him with a smile on her face. "Whats wrong Naruto?" She asked lightly. Naruto shrugged, the motion forcing his overstuffed stomach to move up, causing him to wince in pain.
"I ate waaaaay too much," Naruto said with a laugh, "thank you so much for tonight Sana. I've never had so much fun and all the food was great. Your grandparents are awsome cooks." Naruto looked at the clock on the wall, it was already pretty late, the long hand nearly at ten. "I think I'm gonna head home now though, I'll see you tommorow in front of your shop okay? Then I can treat you to ramen at this cool place I know?" Naruto asked, trying to keep the hope out of his voice, he really liked talking to her. She smiled and stood up, standing behind him and hugging him, her hand wandering down to his stomach and keeping it there for some strange reason. Naruto turned his head a bit to look at her, idly wondering if she thought he was fat after his strange gorging session, after all he didn't normally eat nearly that much.
"Can I ask you something Naruto?"
"Sure, what is it?"
"How would you get rid of a person for a certan period of timethat could pose a problem for your plans?"
"Sorry... what?"
"By forcing them to gain enough weight as to be useless until they lose it."
A cloth covered in a strong odor suddenly flew over his mouth. Naruto tried to stand but the moment he attempted to he felt unbalaced and lost conciousness.
