Feeling both an undeniable attraction as well as a strange familiarity, you gesture enthusiastically for everyone to sit at the table.
"We already ordered some food. Of course, I promised him that if he stayed with me until my very late children finally arrived, I'd buy him dinner. If your father manages to show up before dinner is over, we'll pull over another chair, " you say with some combination of real and feigned annoyance at Steve. If you were being honest with yourself, you'd just want some extra time with Lyndon, and you find yourself hoping Steve doesn't even show up.
You sit back down in the booth and slide over, knowing you're probably giving both Andrew and Lyndon a show. Starting to enjoy the attention, you let the glimpse linger a little longer than necessary, and you see both of their eyes open a little wider with interest. You get settled in, but the two boys still seem a bit spaced.
"Are you going to make me sit by myself?" you ask, innocently enough. Lyndon hurries up and sits down next to you, Andrew slides in across from you and a rather enamored Megan finally sits down, next to Andrew, across from Lyndon.
Seeing that the table is finally full, the waiter comes by to take the drink order. You wave your empty G&T at him with a wink and a nod, Lyndon orders another as well, but the two kids across from you both order sodas.
"Nonsense!" You interrupt. "We are all adults, you should feel comfortable drinking with your mother. Put some rum in their coke and we'll call it even." The waiter acknowledges this change and walks off. The table is filled with idle chatter until the waiter comes back with the drinks. The waiter sets the drinks on the table and walks off.
You raise your glass to the table, and everyone follows suit. Giving a quick wink to Lyndon, you say "To new friends, new experiences, and.. booze!" You clink your glasses and you take a small sip of your drink. You realize you're still will ahead of the game, but the kids look willing to catch up. They knock back about a 1/3 of their drink in the first drink, and finally start to relax a bit.
"So what did you two get up today?" You ask, having a pretty good idea exactly what they did. That is to say, the exact same thing you did.
"Well, " Andrew answers with a blush, "We... we got to know each other better. To, uh, reconnect, if you will. I mean.. you know... it feels like we've been growing.. well... apart over the last decade or so.. so it was.. nice to..." He continues nervously sputtering syllables but they're not longer recognizable as words.
"Just how long have the two of you been together, " asks Lyndon, teasing them.
"Oh.. uh.. childhood sweethearts." says Andrew, finally managing to figure out how his mouth works again.
"Ah, yeah, growing older together can be tough, if you don't grow together." That phrase tickles the back of your head, you're pretty sure you've heard it before, but you can't place it. Before you can retrieve the file from your memory, the waiter comes by with the snacks you ordered earlier. He takes everyone's dinner order and then leaves you devour the appetizer.
Everyone digs in to the asparagus, abruptly halting the conversation for a few minutes. About halfway through the appetizer, you notice a well pleased look cross Andrew's face (you do find it weird to watch other emotions on your own face), and he accidentally knocks his knife off the table. Surprised he would bother trying what is arguably one of the oldest tricks in the book, you still decide to reward him for his initiative. Spreading your legs slightly, you provide him with a dim but otherwise unobstructed view of your dampening pussy.
You keep talking with Megan about various girl things, dancing around the fact that this is new for both of you when you feel... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
