Back to the kitchen to find mom

    by: Unknown
You slowly make your way to the kitchen to see something that almost made you pass out again. If you didn't know better, you'd swear you were looking at a copy of yourself... but dressed in your mother's clothing.

"Honey, don't be scared." Your doppelganger says. The voice makes your ears tremble.

"What the hell is going on? Who are you? What happened to me?" You reply, still terrified about the voice that sounds strangely familiar coming from your mouth.

"You have to understand. I was afraid I'd lose you forever if you went on your trip. I felt like you'd never come back home. I just couldn't bare the thought," you heard your clone say.

"What are you saying?" You say as the gravity of the situation starts to sink in.

"I switched our bodies. You are now Susan Jones. At least, in physical form. And now I'm you, Nathan. It was the only way to stop you from leaving me. If you wouldn't cancel your trip, I would become you and cancel it for us." She said. "Nathan, the fact is, we're going to be stuck this way until I decide we can change back. So for now, we need to get dressed a little more... appropriately."

Your head started spinning again. "Are you nuts, mom? You stole my body to keep me from going on vacation? I mean, if it was that severe, you could've just told me," you plead.

"It wouldn't have worked. You're too pig headed to listen, besides, this'll be a great chance for us to get to know one another. I promise I won't make it too painful. Let's get you situated upstairs before anyone sees us dressed like this. We still have to keep up appearances."

'Keep up appearances,' you think. That phrase just took on a whole new meaning.
