Madame Rouge tried once again to find a way out of her cell. She stretched along the walls, looking for just the tiniest crack, the smallest hole. Yet there was none to be found. She didn't like this at all. Not just being imprisoned, but the fact that she could find no holes meant that it was highly unlikely that she was getting any air. What kind of prison was this? She had no idea how long she had been there, nor how much good air she had remaining. Either way, Rouge couldn't imagine a prison so cruel as to suffocate the inmates. There had to be something she could do...
A possible answer revealed itself as a hole opened in the ground. She almost dove into it before realizing that such a thing could be considered...stupid. And that's when green ooze began to rise out of the hole. Letting out a cry of shock, she stretched up as high as she could, Rouge held herself up. Yet the fluid kept rising...and she couldn't remain attached to the ceiling for much longer. Her strain too great, she plunged into the ooze, gurgling and thrashing before falling still.
The ooze, however, wasn't meant to harm her. It was an attempt to remove her abilities. Once she had lost all form of shape shifting power, she'd be transferred to a normal prison. ...of course, such a formula hadn't been tested yet...but how wrong could it POSSIBLY go?
Some time later, Madame Rouge awoke in her cell, still stinking of the ooze that had nearly drowned her. Standing up, Rouge soon discovered that...
