Tommy was both amazed and terrified by the human, he assumed he was human, in front of him. The individual was a giant about 20 feet tall and very muscular. Shoulders as big as beach balls, biceps bigger than tree trunks, a broad, thick torso, with huge pecs that looked more like two thick granite plates, a powerful 8-pack, legs bigger than anything he had ever seen, but the even more surprising was that his face looked like that of a child, perhaps younger than Tommy himself.
"Who are you?" asked the young giant in a tone of voice that, at the same time, showed youth and power.
"M-my name is To-Tommy, T-t-Tommy H-Hughes." Tommy replied with a mixture of dread and surprise.
"My name is Matthew Fairbanks, but you can call me Matt." The gigantic boy replied, "You should be in bed, the Doctor said you still haven't recovered from the accident." He continued in a critical tone "Come on, I'll take you back." With that, Matt took Tommy, who felt the giant hand wrap his whole body with a certain pressure. Within seconds they reached the room and the giant deposited him on the bed. "Wait here, I'll call the doctor."
"W-wait, where am I?"
"You are at Elysium."
A few minutes after Matt left, he returned with an older man, in his sixties who was a more normal size, about 6ft2.
"Hello my young Tommy, I am Dr. Yanna, I was the one who took care of you when your plane crashed. Mattie warned me of your attempt to escape, that was unwise to do, since you have not yet fully recovered from your accident." Said the man in a tone similar to what a father would use on a disobedient son.
"Sorry, sir, but I was, I am, scared."
"It is understandable that you are like this, after all you just woke up in a totally new environment and, I might add, very strange for you." Said the doctor in an understandable tone. "Now, I need to examine you, to see how you are, all right?" Tommy just nodded and the doctor did the necessary checks. "Now, I assume you would have a question, am I right?"
"Yes, I want to know how the others are doing, the ones on the plane with me, are they okay?"
"I must inform you that, unfortunately, only you and another young man survived the fall and the subsequent fire. He is still unconscious due to a blow to the head, but otherwise he appears to be in perfect health."
Hearing that only someone else on the flight survived was sad for Tommy to hear, he liked those who were with him. "I can see you?" he asked.
"You can see him later. Anything else you want to know?"
"Is everyone here so big?"
"Ha ha ha! No child, most of those who live here are of normal size, only a few are taller, although I should point out that none are as big as Mattie, even the older ones than him. Now the most important thing is that you rest child, so you can recover your strength more quickly. "
