This choice: The same chubby girl she's always been. • Go Back...Chapter #4A larger kind of Leaf. by: Venris A quick smile turned into a yawn, giving her slight double chin a more pronounced look. Excited as she was, Leaf dawdled in the bathroom, taking the time to give herself a good look-over before getting dressed. She was going to meet THE Professor Oak, after all. She had to look her best.
Leaf brushed her hair. After that, she adjusted her bra; newly bought and already the thin straps were digging into the soft flesh of her shoulders and breasts. While it definitly gave her well-developed chest a perky appearance, even the cups were too small and caused some of the squishy flesh to bulge over. Giving them a squeeze, Leaf looked down and frowned. Below those swelled mounds lay the white expanse of her belly. While by no means fat, the young soon-to-be-trainer was definitly on the chunky side. Even without her skirt on there was enough roll to her beginning love handles that she could easily pinch more then an inch. Leaf's fingers trailed down her sides to her belly, cupping it and shaking it. It jiggled and bounced, much more then she had remembered it doing at the beginning of summer, to her personal carnage. Tugging on her skirt only made things worse as she fumbled with the pink fabric over her wide hips and grunted as she doubled over to close the clasp. Standing up straight, her stomach forced the skirt down, bulging over the hem. Slipping into the blue and black tanktop, Leaf smiled again. A week or two on the road and that little paunch of her's would be gone in no time at a-- Just then her stomach grumbled and she couldn't help but laugh.
Grabbing her hat, she bounced downstairs for a bite to eat, her insecurities replaced by that familiar hunger that had been present all summer.

"You're going to be late..." Her mother said softly as Leaf helped herself to another round of bacon and eggs. Leaf stopped only to take a long sip of orange juice between bites, ignoring her mother's warning. Who knew when she'd get another breakfast like this? Bacon, eggs, french toast and orange juice... trainers ate things like Calorie Mates and berries. She needed to fill up while she could! It was only when Leaf had moved on to her fouth serving that her mother succeeded in rousing her stubborn daughter, who munched on a handful of bacon she had managed to grab before picking up her messenger bag and darting out the door.
Licking the grease from her finger tips, Leaf made her way south to the Professor's lab. Easily the biggest building in the tiny podunk town, it towered above the residential buildings that surrounded it. At least she didn't have to worry about getting lost. With a bounce in her step (and other places) she was at the laboratory before she knew it. In front of the door, she took a moment to compose herself.
Hat? Check. Bag? Check.
She tugged her tank top down over the budge of her belly, straightened her hat and marched on in, bubbling with excitement. Inside, the professor's aides buzzed about, looking over notes, reading though books and other things that researchers did. However, the Oak she met wasn't the professor she had been looking for.
Blue was by far the biggest jerk the chubby girl had ever met. Her self-proclaimed rival in just about everything... He was taller, thinner (although if one was to look closely, they might have noticed that he face was starting to loose it's edge) and always went out of his way to try and one up her. Just the sight of him got her blood boiling and she quickly turned tail and fled the lab.
If he wasn't there though, where was the professor? She roamed around town with little success, leaving only one option: the tall grass that lead out to Route 1. Moving closer, she looked around. For as long as Leaf could remember, her mother had told her that it wasn't safe to enter the tall grass without a pokémon or adult present. But if the professor was out there...
"Hey! Wait! Don't go out there!"
Leaf spun around, only to smile as Professor Oak shambled up to her.
"Impatient, aren't we? You need a pokémon for your protection out there... ah. Come with me!"
Opening her mouth, Leaf was about to rebuttal the old man, inform him that she had simply been looking for him so that she could get herself a pokémon of her very own.. but he was already on his way to the lab and she had to jog to keep up.
Back at the lab, Blue made a face as Leaf and Oak entered.
"Gramps! I'm tired of waiting. Don't tell me she slowed you down." At that jab, Leaf stuck her tongue out at the other brunette although the professor seem oblivious to the tension between his grandson and this girl.
"Haha, just wait Blue. Leaf, to the right you'll notice three pokéballs and inside them are three different types of Pokémon. I want you to pick one of them."
Blue spun on his grandfather. "No fair! What about me?"
"What about you?" Leaf quipped, making her way over to the encapsulated pokémon. She could see her rival go red in the face as the professor laughed, reminding his grandson to be patient.
She could feel his eyes on her as she tried to decide. Which one was the right one for her? Should she go with the one who would make her journey an easy one? Nervously, Leaf picked one of the balls up. | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
