What was that sensation again? Frantically you stretch like you did before... but that hadn't really been it, had it? You think you did something by accident WHILE you were stretching that made you... turn into John? How? Why? Aw hell, you don't have time to think about that, you just HAVE to change back before someone sees you!
Suddenly, you find it, a pinching sensation feeling like it's all down your back and.... you squirm, this time expecting it, and feel your body shift back to what you are more familiar with. You've read somewhere that the body has some kind of subconscious 'mental map' of where all the bits are. That's how you can move your hand somewhere you can't see and know where it is.. While you're changing this mental map must be all screwed up. Your limbs feel wrong, too short, too long, head too high, too low, it's tricky to avoid falling over... then after maybe twenty seconds things stabilize and you feel like you again... completely. That feeling of bones rearranging is really creepy!
Panting you straighten your skirt, which thankfully didn't tear, and dash downstairs to Sara.
"Hey, Sara... um, where is your bathroom?" you grunt, managing to get this in before Sara asks any awkward questions and visibly cross your legs.
Sara grins.
"Oh, back upstairs. You didn't see it on the right? We do keep the door shut." You make an 'Oooooh' face and nod thanks and dash back upstairs again, finding the door (that you already knew where it was really) and go in, shutting it and collapsing in relief on the toilet.
"What the hell is happening to me?" you whisper to yourself, staring at yourself in the mirror.
