Looking at the reflection Tikal was able to recognize it as Miles Tails Prower, one of the heroes she helped during the events of Adventure. How she appeared in his body was a mystery for her until she suddenly received a flood of his memories including moments before she was sent into his body which played out like a scene from a movie: Tails happened to be expirmenting on a Chaos Emerald he had recently discovered and tried to tap into the Chaos Force using it, if he could tap into the practically unlimited energy the Force had power crisises across the world would be solved and thus technology would be propelled several steps further as a whole. Unfortunately though as he did so the machine scanning the emerald short circuited as it was being exposed to more energy than the fox had planned for causing an impact that sent Tikal's spirit flying out from the Force and right into Tails' chest as he was sent flying due to the blast causing a huge explosion, the body landing near the river with only cuts and bruises due to much exposure to Chaos Energy in the past making his body much more durable.
