In the Mountains

As the two confounded dragons took in their surroundings, they realized they were lost in an unknown mountain range. "Great!" snapped Cynder, studying the distance between them and the ground in between the huge rugged triangles. "Where the hell are we supposed to find a portal around here? The bloody Chronicler wouldn't be able to find us now!" Spyro merely watched the snow drift to the floor, occasional drafts throwing them off course. "At least it's warm up here... should it be this warm up here? There's no Sun around." He rotated on the spot, trying to breach the barrier of fog with his eyes. It shrouded the mountain vales in a grey haze, blocking any possible help from sight. He could still see Cynder, so that put the mist at a minimum of 11 feet from their eyes. "I think we should try moving out of this fog, Cynder, it's not helping... Do you know anything about snow, Cyn? Because that doesn't look right to me." Curious, the black dragoness moved through the field of white to reach Spyro. Drawing closer, she observed the simmering snow around the purple dragon. As it evaporated into a hazy steam, Spyro tried clearing it with his paw; it was immediately thrust back into the cool snow with a yelp. "That really burnt! Is it fire? I've never seen white fire before! " Cynder snorted, smirking at Spyro's befuddled face. "It's water, you nonce; the snow is evaporating under heat." Spyro merely grew more confused trying to understand her words, eliciting another giggle from Cynder. "Since when does it get so hot in an ice covered mountain range? There's nothing that hot that I can see." "That's because it's not above ground, Spyro, it's... below us..." Her face quickly contorted from humour to anxiety as she realized what was happening. Spyro opened his maw to question her, but was interrupted by a deep rumble. The snow had mostly vanished by now. "Cynder, why is the ground vibrating?" He dug his claws into the dirt to steady himself. "Cynder!" She suddenly wore a mask of fear. "Mountains don't vibrate, Spyro... Volcanoes do! We have to get off of this thing! Follow me!" He watched as she barrelled over the edge of the cliff and into the vast gap between them and the neighbouring mountain. A sudden crack from behind span him around into a ready stance, expecting an attack from the "Volcano" creature. He raised a brow when nothing happened. Then he spotted a red liquid spouting from the ground. Another rumble, and the puddle grew larger. In a instant, his ears were overwhelmed by a massive explosion from above. He turned his gaze skywards to see the fountain of red that flowed towards him.

You have the following choices:

1. Have Spyro follow Cynder's example (Get the hell out!)

2. Stay and play in the red jelly! (It's fun!)
